Project Description
After decades of a boil water advisory, the First Nation community of Tsi Deldel (Redstone) received a new water treatment plant and residents were supplied with safe drinking water. The project included:
- two groundwater wells
- 1250 sq. ft. water treatment building (cartridge filtration, UV disinfection, chlorine injection, and disinfection contact time)
- Onsite booster pump system
- SCADA system for remote monitoring and operation
- Onsite laboratory for microbiological testing and water chemistry analysis
- water mixing capabilities in the existing water reservoirs
- 1200m of dedicated water supply main
